Written Histories of the NAA

The first history of the NAA was written and published privately by Maj Denis Rollo, a previous Secretary of the Association and Regimental Historian, in 1982.

It was then subsequently updated by both Denis Rollo and Lt Col Peter Binder (a previous Honorary Treasurer and Trustee of the NAA) in 2004.  This document can be accessed here.

However, to meet the needs of most Members and Stakeholders an abridged, short form version of the above 2004 History is currently being produced.

However, in the meantime, a short 2 page oversight Timeline document of the past 160 years has been prepared and can be accessed here.
